I associate Lent with illness. This is probably because my old friend Sister Teresa always got sick during Lent. So--here I am with three sick boys (just a booger-y juicy-cough with a fever, cold). I'm trying to get work done today, keeping in mind to take extra time to read and snuggle.
Also--THE DISHWASHER IS BROKEN! Guess God wants a little more sacrifice out of me than I was giving! But I have finished the meal-plan for the week. That's something--even if the dishes are piling up, the jumprope sits neglected, and the bathroom cries for a scrubbing.
Off I go!
